With all the mangrove shorelines in Crystal River, it makes for an incredible snook habitat. We have some of the largest resident snook along the gulf coast of Florida! These fish live and hunt in the same crystal clear water that our redfish do. So, while hunting our redfish, it is not uncommon to have a snook pop out of the mangroves looking for a meal. Crystal River and Homosassa host several sight fishing opportunities for them, as well as a plethora of opportunity to catch them blind casting topwater plugs and other artificial baits.
