I have been fortunate enough to learn a lot of the Nature Coast, and that allows me to guide in a lot of areas around our area. These areas include Yankeetown, Waccasassa Bay, Ozello, Crystal River, and Homosassa! While I do offer trips around the Nature Coast, my home base is Crystal River. I chose this for many reasons, including great lodging, good food, and a wonderful atmosphere around town. Click on one of the pictures below to learn more about what we do on a trip!

WHAT’S INCLUDed:

FLY FISHING

Crystal River is unlike any other area in the state. We have huge grass flats, rocky shorelines, oyster bars, and mangrove shorelines scattered up and down the coast here. This offers fly anglers the chance to throw a fly on most days of the year, no matter what the weather is like. We can catch redfish, trout, and snook year round, with the seasonal species being tarpon, cobia, and tripletail. 

SPIN FISHING

The Nature Coast offers a wide variety of techniques to the fisherman that wants to throw artificial baits at redfish, snook, trout, flounder, bonita, tripletail, spanish mackeral, and really anything else that swims. We can pole down rocky shorelines in Yankeetown and sight fish crystal clear flats in Crystal River.

TARPON FISHING

Starting in May, this is my favorite season! Homosassa offers a world class tarpon fishery for any fly angler. Our average fish is around 100lbs, with the opportunity at a world record any day. Homosassa has held the world record for tarpon on fly since 1982, and it’s been broken twice since then! If you’d like to learn more about the incredible fishery we have here for tarpon, click here!
